Because Pavo Podo®Care contains no extra energy and protein, it is extremely suitable for broodmares, foals and young horses that are overweight. Being overweight has a negative effect on healthy development and growth, making it important to maintain a healthy weight. Unique to Podo®Care is the Podo® concept, a mineral mix that has been scientifically proven to reduce the risk of developing OC(D) (chips) in young horses up to 50%. Pavo Podo®Care can be used as (partial) replacement of concentrate feed.
